Our First Mission
The Father's House – Davenport Campus
Our first vision is to establish The Father's House in Davenport, Florida—a Christ-centered ministry campus dedicated to serving the orphan, the widow, and the poor.
The Davenport campus will become a place where lives are transformed through both the Gospel and practical care by providing:
- Safe homes for orphaned children
- Care and community for widows
- Food distribution
- Clothing assistance
- Showers and hygiene services
- Prayer and pastoral care
- Biblical discipleship
In Acts 6, as the early Church experienced tremendous growth, the apostles recognized that widows were being overlooked in the daily distribution of food. Rather than neglect either ministry, they appointed qualified deacons to oversee the practical care of those in need so that the apostles could remain devoted to prayer and the ministry of the Word.
"It is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables... Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word."
— Acts 6:2–4 (NKJV)
This passage demonstrates that caring for widows and the poor was never viewed as separate from the mission of the Church—it was an essential part of it. The apostles ensured that both ministries flourished: one devoted to proclaiming the Gospel and the other devoted to meeting practical needs.
At The Father's House, we embrace that same biblical model. We believe the Church is called to preach Christ boldly while also feeding the hungry, caring for widows, serving orphans, and restoring dignity to those in need.
We are inviting churches across Florida and beyond to join us in establishing the first Father's House Campus in Davenport, Florida. Together, we can build a place where the Gospel is proclaimed, lives are discipled, the hungry are fed, widows are loved, children are cared for, and communities are transformed by the love of Jesus Christ.
This is more than a building project—it is a Kingdom assignment rooted in Scripture. By partnering together, we continue the example established by the early Church: proclaiming the Word of God while ensuring that no one is forgotten.
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress..."
"Our mission is to help the helpless and transform them into helpers, showing the love of Christ by providing care, shelter, and support to orphans, the poor, and widows."
Vision
Rooted in Psalm 68:5, our vision is to reflect God's heart for the vulnerable. "A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling." We aim to create a community where no one feels forgotten, where all experience God's protective love and care. Through our service, we strive to bring comfort, justice, and hope to those in need.

Join Us In Making A Difference.
The Gospel has always been accompanied by compassion. Jesus preached the Kingdom of God while feeding the hungry, caring for the poor, healing the brokenhearted, and restoring hope to those who had been forgotten.
The early Church followed this same pattern. As the Gospel spread, the apostles appointed deacons to ensure that widows and those in need were faithfully cared for (Acts 6:1–7). From the beginning, preaching the Good News and serving the vulnerable have always gone hand in hand.
The Apostle Paul continually encouraged believers to remember the poor.
"They desired only that we should remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do."
Galatians 2:10
He also taught that generosity is an act of worship.
"Whoever sows generously will also reap generously... God loves a cheerful giver."
2 Corinthians 9:6–8
When we give, we become partners in God's work of bringing hope, dignity, and restoration to others.

A Song of Triumph and Celebration
Psalm 68 is a powerful and celebratory psalm attributed to David, reflecting on God’s sovereignty, provision, and care for the vulnerable. It calls us to praise Him for His deliverance and justice, while also prophesying a future where all nations will honor His reign.
1. Acknowledging God's Sovereignty
This portion of the psalm exalts God as the supreme ruler of the heavens and the earth. It speaks of His power to scatter His enemies and His role as the ultimate protector and defender. The vivid imagery of God riding on the heavens reminds us of His unmatched greatness and authority.

The psalm recounts God's faithful provision and His intervention on behalf of His people. It reminds us of His care during the Israelites' journey through the wilderness and His victories over their adversaries. 3. Highlighting God's Care for the Vulnerable
This part of the psalm underscores God's deep concern for the marginalized. He is portrayed as a loving father to the fatherless and a defender of widows. This reminder of God’s compassionate care encourages us to show similar kindness and support to those in need.
4. Encouraging Worship
The psalm calls the people to join together in worship, celebrating God’s strength and blessings. With music and song, we are invited to express our gratitude and praise for the mighty work of God in our lives.

Psalm 68 is a powerful blend of historical reflection and prophetic hope, encouraging us to trust in God's power to save, deliver, and rule with justice and mercy. As we reflect on this psalm, let it inspire us to worship, serve others, and work toward the fulfillment of God’s promises.
